A new fashion documentary film will debut sometime in 2017 titled Dries. A film about the life and work of legendary Belgian designer Dries van Noten. A London based film company has acquired the rights to distribute the film produced by Reiner Holzemer, who filmed Dries around in his home and atelier. The film also contains cameo interviews with fashion experts Suzy Menkes, Pamela Golbin and Iris Apfel. Dries van Noten is one of Belgian’s top exports in the fashion industry and the film documents his entire career which spans over the last 25 years. Dries van Noten has a keen eye for colour, texture a mixture of fabrics and alternative shapes. His latest collection was a mixture of bold prints and striking colours. Dries commissioned instagram artist Gill Burton to design and handprint one of a kind plates as gifts for his VIP clientele.
