Johnny Pigozzi’s Pool Party is the personal archives of photographs taken by the French photographer all taken in his kidney shaped swimming pool in Cap d’ Antibes in France. His father built the house and pool when Jean was born in the early 50’s and oozes that retro sex appeal that you see in a Slim Aarons photo, except it’s the real thing. The unique pictures are taken of the rich and famous, movies stars, rock stars, super models and artists during the last 5 decades. Jack Nicolson, Elizabeth Taylor, Jane Fonda, Woody Alleen, Helmut Newton, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, Naomi Campbell, Elle McPherson including candid shots of Bono and his wife. Known to his friends as “Johnny” Jean Pigozzi throws the ultimate pool parties neon coloured floats and all, and seeing the photographs makes you wish you were friends.
